I've decided to take this challenge.

day 1: your favorite song

now, this is truly an unfair question to any music lover out there.  I've got plenty of "favorite songs of the moment" or favorite songs that represent specific parts of my life.  but, when it comes to deep-down-songs-I'll-never-tire-of-hearing, I always go back to my roots-- songs and artists introduced to me by my dad.  so, here is (one of) my favorites:
