I have, as my family can attest, been a little bit absorbed with the olympic games. I know that there must be a lot of not-so-amazing stuff that goes on at the games and behind the scenes, but I'm a believer in the goal and the sprit of the games, the work ethic of the athletes, and the idea of nations coming together to compete in peace. I honestly come home from school every day and look forward to Bob Costas. I have probably spent more time watching TV in these past two weeks that I did in the entire year of 2009. What will I do with my life now that they are over? Since today is the closing cerimonies, I thought I'd make a list for myself of all of the things I've been putting off:
prepare for parent-teacher conferences
find shoes for the wedding
clean my classroom
clean my bedroom
clean my bathroom
be more patient and enriching with my students
...and my family
spend time with my friends
go to the temple
establish an exercise regimen
plan in advance for school
write thank-you notes
generally be more productive and less of a couch potato
Long Live the Olympics! can't wait for LONDON 2012.

I am also excited for the 2010 London Olympics! The Olympics are my favorite.
As for wedding shoes, modcloth.com has some really, really cute shoes. Just an idea :)
What do you teach Brynn, and when is your wedding? I am so happy for you!
