according to my student James, it's my "lucky birthday"!
with luck, this year I will:
- get married
- learn a new skill
- cook at least 5 new recipes
- complete my first year of teaching and begin my second
- organize my living spaces and clear out my closet
- spoil a new niece (and an old niece)
- learn a new song on the guitar
- attend the temple monthly
- go on a road trip
- take a satisfying hike
- wakeboard at hebgen
- decorate
- read 3 books I've never read before
- develop (and live within) a budget
- make my "africa book"
- learn to quilt
- host some successful parties
- write a song
- write in my journal regularly
- reorganize my classroom and teaching stuff
- exercise regularly
- floss more often
- get in touch with at least one old friend
